Sleepless night full of fright,
What will happen before twilight?

Dreamless sleep, sweating sleet,
Quivering, crying, fitful sleep.

Longest hour, darkest yet,
Waiting for the moon to set.

Here it comes morning time,
I can’t wait for sweet sunshine.

Sleepless night, morning light,
The day has come and all is right.
