A little poem I wrote while I was bored.
In the darkness a lover waits
As the hands on the clocks tic.
In the darkness a creature creeps
Closing in on its pray.
In the darkness the lover weeps
For the meeting never came.
In the darkness the creature grins
Knowing the hunt is almost at end.
In the darkness the lover screams
As metal cuts the flesh.
In the darkness the creature laughs
While the blood flows to the ground.
In the darkness the lover dies
As the creature turns away.
