About A Woman I Cared For While Stationed in California
Alone in a room surrounded by white walls.
Wondering and pondering what your doing.
Sitting on a bed as the time ticks by,
as music plays in the background.
Wondering if my actions are for nothing;
wishing the woman who brightens my day,
would equal her actions to mine.
For if those actions occur,
my mind would be at ease more.
Why am I so lucky, but unlucky
at the same time.
Is it destine to be.
It feels so
or is it just words.
Actions speak louder,
so why does it occur only
when I initiate them.
I wish I knew.
For now though
I’ll just
pray.
