My Green Demon


Out my window
Across the way
A light so bright
And far away

It keeps flashing
To show a sign
Encouraging
Me to find

The green light
Across the bay
Holds so much
In a heartfelt way

I reach for it
Across the sky so blue
Hoping that
My dreams come true
