follows a criminal and his strive to remain a secret
I looked at the blood that caked the palms of my gloved hands and grimaced while I wondered why this had to be such a messy business. I scratched my knit capped head with the back of my wrist before I glanced around making sure that I had left no evidence pointing in my direction. I noticed dirt I had trailed in on my shoes and sighed before I took of my bloodied gloves and slipped on the back-up pair I had brought for just this occasion. I carefully placed the bloody gloves (inside out so as not to get blood on my clean gloves) into a plastic bag and quickly sealed it. I grabbed the small paintbrush I had packed and swept up the dirt and also placed that in the sealed bag.
