My Florence Nightingale. A love sonnet about a nurse named Louise
LOUISE

By: Rusty Cason

I gaze into them helpless like a babe,

Surrendering my heart for her to keep.

As magical as moonlight on a pond,

I bask in you till joyously I weep.

With Stallions speed her spirit races on,

She leaves behind a trail for all she'd touch.

A trail of blooming roses in her wake,

Each petal symbolizes giving much.

Oh sweetness as is nectar to the bee,

Or songbirds tweeting joyously they sing.

Your gift of giving shines throughout your soul,

I'd follow you my love and all you bring.

Contagious is the love of Ms. Louise.

She brings both love and hope to all she sees.
