Hyde saves Rain from the emptiness, until two abrupt visitor’s travel into Rain’s World
Rain woke in a dark and cold room, she sat up to look around the room all she could see in the darkness was the faint light that shown threw the bottom of the door. Rain wasn't scared though. A voice came from the other side of the door. Rain knew the instant she heard it that it was Hyde.
The door slowly opened, leaving Rain blinded by the sudden lights outside the door. Rain shielded her eyes from the light with her hand as she watched Hyde walk into the room. Hyde stepped into the room flicked on a switch, which turned on all the fluorescent lights that hung over Rain's head, and continued walking towards her.
Rain could now tell that the room she was captive in was quite large, with titled floors. The room was quite cold, but that Rain realized when the lights were off. The room is painted with light blue paint. The fluorescent lights reflected off the blue paint making everything in the room have a blue tint.
As Hyde approached Rain, he left the door opened behind him. Rain looked around at that door and then back at Hyde. She could figure out why he would just leave it open if he kidnapped her to begin with.
"I suppose you are wondering why I left the door opened." Hyde questioned while looking at the door and then back towards Rain. "I'm not forcing you to stay here with me. You are free to leave at anytime you please. I just brought you here to make a bargain with you."
"What kind of bargain?" Rain questioned giving Hyde a questionable look.
"You stay here with me, but I rule this world." Hyde walked closer to Rain as he spoke. He was now inches from her face. Rain could feel his cool and exhilarating breath on her face. She couldn't let him rule this world not the way he is now.
Rain inched herself back on the bed she was sitting on to provided them with some breathing room. Hyde wouldn't allow it though. He moved in closer to her every time she moved.
"Hyde you're not yourself and until you change back I will never let you rule my world." She said before Hyde grabbed her neck and throwing her down onto her back. He was now straddling her with his hand covering her mouth and neck.
"You may want to reconsider." He whispered in her ear before licking and chewing on it. This disturbed Rain a little so she grabbed Hyde's shoulders and ripped him to the side of her and rolled over on top of him. Rain was now on top of Hyde pinning him down; Hyde smirked at her sudden motion.
Rain looked at him in disgust before jumping of Hyde and running for the door. It didn't work Hyde was too quick for her. He was standing in front of the door before Rain could exit. She quickly ran to her right and back over to the bed she jumped on it hoping that Hyde would follow her. As Hyde followed Rain, as she wanted Rain took a quick left jumping off the bed. She then quickly spun around and jumped back onto the bed this time behind Hyde.
Before Hyde could register what she just did Rain jumped at Hyde sending him soaring for the floor. Rain briskly grabbed the pole on the bed, swung herself around, and ran towards the door, leaving Hyde motionless on the ground.
As Rain ran up the stairs to this dungeon, she was shocked to see that she was in the house Hyde made for them. She quickly spent no time standing there in shock she had to get out of that house. She lunged for the door as she stumbled towards the door.
Rain ran out of the house, but to her horror, Hyde was standing on the porch waiting for her. Rain quickly jolted to the right trying to get away from him. The only thing to the right of the porch was the railing. Rain was trapped when she met the end of the porch she set her hand on the railing and jumped over it landing on the sandy beach.
Hyde was again standing right in front of her. This time she couldn’t run anywhere. Hyde had her backed up against the porch. He held her wrists against to railing beams. Rain was most definitely trapped. When Hyde moved in closer to Rain, Rain kicked him hard in the shines. Hyde let out a pain fill scream, but never let Rain free.
Rain let her body fall limp in Hyde’s grip. Hyde grabbed her around the waist and threw her over his shoulder. Rain just let herself be carried back into the house. Hyde didn’t bring her down to the basement, though. No this time he brought her to his room and threw her on the bed, slamming the door behind him.
Hyde walked over to the bed, he carefully set his hand on Rains back slowly lowered her to the bed, Rain continued to act unconscious. Rain's motionless body lied limp on the comforter to Hyde's bed. Hyde grabbed both of Rain's ankle twisting them onto the bed so she was now length wise on the bed. Hyde lifted the covers on the bed to throw them over Rain's tiny body.

The next morning Rain awoke before the sun was over the horizon. Rain rolled over in bed and saw Hyde lying on the opposite side of the bed. Rain quietly slipped out of the bed and onto her hands and knees. She started to crawl over to the door, making sure that even if Hyde woke up he wouldn't see her.
Rain was almost at the door when Hyde awoke for his deep slumber. Rain froze in place she couldn't move. When she looked behind her towards Hyde, she saw that he was looking around the room for her. His gaze then moved on her.
Rain quickly stumbled to her feet opening the door and ran out, with Hyde following. Rain ran into the kitchen and around the table. She grabbed one of the chairs and knocking it down as she past to make a blockade. Just as she planed Hyde tripped over the chair, sending him hands first onto the slate floors. Rain grabbed a knife off the counter and ran out of the house.

~*~

Brandon sat still on the sandy beach never taking his eyes off where Rain was taken from. He couldn't believe that he let her go with Hyde. Brandon heard the noise of branches snapping from under some ones feet. He slowly turned his head to where the sounds are coming from. That's when he saw Cody stepping out from the woods.
"Where the hell have you been!" Brandon screamed rising off the sandy beach and marching over to Cody.
"I was at the house the whole time! You just left me." Cody scolded back,
"Where?" Brandon asked cocking his head to one side,
"I hide under Hyde's window." Cody said calmly,
"Oh." Brandon let out in remorse,
"I saw Rain again. Hyde had her in his room last night. This morning though didn't go very well." Cody stopped for a brief second, which was to long for Brandon. Brandon grabbed Cody's shoulders and started shaking him telling him to tell him what he saw.
"This morning when Rain woke up she crawled out of bed, I think she was trying to keep quite so that Hyde wouldn't hear her. She reached the door, I thought that she was going to make it out safe, but then Hyde awoke and saw her. She quickly opened the door and ran out. That was the last thing that I saw. Since, the both ran out of the room. I think that she made it out safe. I'm not sure though I heard a lot of crashing noises." Brandon released Cody to think about what he should do.
"We need to find her." That was the last thing Brandon was able to say before someone ran threw the trees, stumbling on the sandy and headed towards the water. Brandon knew right away that this person was Rain. "That was convenient." He said before walking up to Rain,
Rain stood on at the waters edge thinking how wrong she was for making Hyde. He was destroying everything. All he wanted was control of this place. There had to be a way to withdraw from this pandemonium. Rain looked out across the water she could still see her "everything" on the other side of the water. If only she could reach it.
Rain lowered her head letting out a sigh of defeat. There was nothing she could do, now. Hyde was too powerful for her to stop. Hurt and pain rose to her eyes she could feel the tears balling in her eyes. She wouldn't let herself cry though that would only bring worse things. 'Her pain, her sadness makes my heart ache. Why does she have to blame herself for all of this? She wasn’t thinking. She believed this as her only mean’s near freedom. It was an impulsive decision, yes, but so are numerous other decisions that we, as an individual, find ourselves fabricating.' Brandon thought to himself while stopping short of Rain.
Rain walked towards her "everything" with a feeling of melancholy. One that tore her between a feeling of false belief and one of, well, what she thought was true, but could never really be too sure about it. This was a feeling that she herself could not explain, in a matter of words. She would have to make a decision. Between life and death, myth and reality, love and hate. All of these things seem to be easily decided upon for Rain, though, they were a matter of throwing away all of what she had lived and worked for. The "everything" was her life and now it was destroyed. Now, that it was destroyed, it was as if her life was destroyed, too. A feeling that someone had taken a rock and shattered the glass, the beauty, of her life.
She slowly turned her head to one side as if she was falling apart, as a whole. She felt like her legs were being shattered, half there and half vanished. Her chest was as if someone had thrust his or her whole weight upon it. The pain felt as if her sternum was being disconnected from her ribs, and they too were becoming dismembered. Her insides felt chaotic they felt as if they were breaking from themselves. Then without any forewarning or signal the feeling stopped, and everything was back to normal.
She tried to scream, but no sound would seem to escape her. She tried to breathe, but she could not get air to pass through her lunges. Finally, she tried to move, but all that seemed to move on her frozen body was her aching heart. She felt heavy and she wanted to fall to the ground to give her weary legs a rest, but she could not.
Brandon stood there staring at Rain in disbelief he had never had a feeling of such hurt. He could sense the pain that Rain was in, that is when he noticed that her head was cocked slightly to the side.
“Something is not right.” Brandon said a little over a whisper.
“What do you mean? Everything looks alright to me.” Cody responded in utter confusion walking towards Brandon.
“No, something’s wrong look at her. She looks….” Brandon stuttered to find the right words to explain, to Cody, the feeling that he was experiencing when looking at Rain.
“She looks?” Cody asked, nevertheless, confused.
“Cody? We have to go see what is wrong.” Brandon almost stuttered to say before stumbling towards Rain.
“Nothing is wrong with the girl she’s just heartbroken. It is best for her to be alone at this time.” Cody said in an I-beg-to-differ kind of voice.
“No, I am not letting her be alone right now, it was wrong of me to leave her alone for this long. She needs me.” He explained to Cody before walking towards Rain. Until he was stopped by, Cody's hand around his wrist.
“What are you talking about? You barely know the girl." Brandon ignored Cody’s reply and continued to walk towards Rain’s motionless body. He knew he could explain to Cody what he means that Rain created him as well. He placed his hand on Rain's shoulder, and said her name.
When she did not answer him he turned her around and looked at her. She appeared to be fine on the outside, but he knew that something was not right judging by the look on her face.
“I can’t save it.” Rain spoke those last words before falling into Brandon’s arms.
“No, you can. Don’t give up. There is a way to stop him. We just have to find it.” He said running his fingers through her hair, and setting his chin on top of her head.
“I don’t understand how to stop him without hurting him."
“Rain, you have to attempt to stop him!”
“There is no other way, Brandon. Here there is no way to kill the living. There is no way to die. It would be an eternity of fighting. A life long battle. This place is a world-without-an-end.”
It was quite between the two of them as Brandon tried to comprehend what she was saying. The only sound was that of Hyde. Screaming for Rain to come with him and return the others to the real world.
"Rain, if you couldn't die in this world how come we can get battered and bruised?" Brandon asked thinking that he was onto something.
"Hu?" Rain was confused for a second then comprehended what Brandon was talking about, "I wouldn't know. I made this world so it wouldn't have hurt and sadness, but like you sad we are experiencing it now." Brandon had a huge smile plastered on his flawless face,
"I think since your "everything" is leaving I think that the "nothingness" is the pain and suffering people experience during life."
"I think you are right. Every thing in life has its flaws and the "nothingness" in this world is my flaw." Those where the last words Rain spoke before being ripped out of Brandon's arms and into Hyde's. Rain wouldn't let herself be taken away by Hyde again. Therefore, she moved around in his arms until she was facing him, which is when she punched him in the face. Rain fell from Hyde's arms and plunged towards the water.
Brandon quickly ran out into the water and caught Rain before she collided with the water. Brandon though lost his balance when he caught her and fell back into the water. Rain quickly jolted back to the surface of the water. She helped Brandon up and ran for the shore. Rain tripped a couple of times in the water, but Brandon was right behind her to help her back up to her feet.
Hyde again tried to capture Rain. Hyde stood in front of Rain holding a knife inches from her throat. Rain stood there calmly, it was as if she knew he couldn’t hurt her. Rain and Hyde stood there facing each other for over five minutes.
Rain reached up for the blade of the knife, once her small hands were around the blade, she pulled it away from Hyde. Hyde wouldn’t let the knife go. Crimson liquid drained down the blade of the knife and onto the sandy beach. Rain and Hyde were both to stubborn to let the knife go.
Brandon and Cody watched in astonishment and the two of them. Brandon could feel his stomach turning at the sight of Rain’s blood dripping down the blade.
“Let the knife go.” Rain said determent to have the blade in her possession.
“Stop hurting yourself and let the blade go Rain. You will never win, against me.” Hyde commanded before ripping the blade hard back away from Rain.
Rain screamed out in pain, but still wouldn’t let the blade go. Her skin was now deeply wounded by the knife. When Hyde pulled on the knife, again Rain stumbled towards him running into his chest and knocking him to the ground. When the two of them fell backward Hyde released the knife and Rain had full control of it now. Rain was now lying onto of Hyde holding the knife at his throat.
“I don’t want to do this to you Hyde, but you’ve given me no other choice.” Rain said before pulling the knife far back behind her head and smashing down into Hyde’s chest. A gut wrenching screamed filled the air. Rain sat on him straddling him in shock. She couldn’t believe what she did.
“Rain you did it. You stopped him.” Brandon said with glee in his voice, but Rain showed no glee in her eyes or her voice.
“I killed him. MY CREATION!” She screamed before running at Brandon with the knife in her hand. “Because of you I killed him! I hate you!” She screamed while lunging towards Brandon with the knife. During her rage, she didn’t notice that Cody was walking towards Hyde with something in his hands.
“Cody don’t you dare!” Brandon screamed while dodging all of Rain’s rage filled attacks. Rain quickly turned around to look at Cody once Brandon yelled at him. She saw him holding her pendant in his hands.
“No, stop!” She ran towards Cody screaming and waving her hand about in the air. Rain was to slow Cody set the pendant on Hyde’s chest and pushed it into the hole the blade made. Lights started flowing violently threw the air. Whipping past Rain and Brandon lights grew more violent around Cody’s body.
“You need to stop this!” Rain yelled while running towards Hyde’s body and Cody’s nothingness. Rain slid in the sand next to Cody. She grabbed his shoulders and turned his to face her. That was when Rain saw the nothingness in Cody’s eyes just like Hyde’s.
“You’re taking his place.” She said quietly to herself while hanging her head. Cody picked up her chin and looked at her deep into her eyes. That was when Rain could feel her spirit leaving her body. Rain screamed out in pain and fear.
“I need you to live.” Cody said with an echo with Hyde’s voice. Rain couldn’t stop screaming the pain grew fiercer with each breath.
Brandon could only watch as Rain’s spirit left her body. He was frozen in place. He could feel someone behind him that was when he heard Hyde’s voice talking behind him. Brandon looked back towards the beach where Hyde’s body use to lay dormant. All he saw was Rain lying in Hyde’s place completely motionless.
“She made a great donor and your friend was a perfect slave. You though your stronger than the rest of them.” Brandon could feel the hairs on his arms and back of his neck stand up. “I finally know what you are. You’re just like me Brandon you are one of Rain’s beautiful creations.” Brandon’s body teased up when he said ‘beautiful creations’.
“I was and never will be like you Hyde. You killed our creator!” Brandon yelled turning around to face Hyde,
“I didn’t kill her my dear Brandon. I merely took part of her soul. That’s all, she’s still living.” Hyde said looking towards Rain’s body. He started to walk towards Rain until he was stopped by Brandon.
“You’ll never hurt her again.” Brandon held his ground arms wide,
“Silly boy remember she hates you now.” Hyde chuckled before barging past Brandon who was standing there mortified. He replayed that horrible memory in his head. When Rain was full of fury and attacking him because she kill Hyde.
He never thought about this before, but why would she try to kill her last creation if she were so mad about killing her other one? This question will haunt Brandon for the rest of his life. Brandon shook off his mortified state and turned to face Hyde. He looked towards his feet before gaining the courage to tell off Hyde. That was when he saw the same knife Rain and Hyde were fighting over at his feet.
“Do you think she loves you? She killed you remember!” Brandon growled while grabbing the knife at his feet and lunging at Hyde. Hyde hastily turned around before Brandon could stab him in the back. Hyde held Brandon's wrist holding the knife inches from Hyde's face.
"Do you really intend to kill me?" Hyde as casually,
"Undoubtedly." Brandon said before ripping his wrist from Hyde's grip. He lunged for Hyde again. This time instead of Hyde stopping him, he ran. Brandon followed Hyde threw the woods. Dodging trees and shrubs Brandon was able to successfully attack Hyde.
Brandon could now see the edge of the woods. Before Hyde ran out of the woods, he jumped up in a tree the hopped to the next tree hoping to escape Brandon. This didn't work though Brandon just followed Hyde and jumped into the trees. Hyde was to his last tree and jumped down onto the beach. Brandon could see that Hyde was leading him to the beach house.
Hyde ran into the house with Brandon following close behind him. Hyde ran down into the basement of the house. He lead Brandon into the same room that he locked Rain into. When they ran into the room Rain was sitting on the tile floors staring at them in disappointment.
She slowly and painfully rose to her feet saying,
"I thought I taught you not to fight!" She yelled before falling back onto the ground. Brandon wanted some much to go over there and help her, but he did want to turn his back to Hyde.
"Rain my dear we were merely playing." Hyde said cunningly,
"Liar!" Rain yelled now frustrated at all of Hyde's lies. She rose to her feet walking towards Hyde. "I'm your creator Hyde not the other way around. When I kill you to stop you from hurting everything, you stay that way. Don't you dare use my soul again!" She screamed in Hyde's face before Hyde punched her hard in the gut. Rain's pupils shrunk and her eyes grew large. Rain lost her breath and fell to the ground.
"Hyde!" Brandon growled
"Yes, Brandon." Hyde said nonchalantly while turning around to face him. Brandon growled under his breath and lunged at Hyde with the knife high behind his head. Hyde didn't react in time to dodge the attack by Brandon. Brandon successively stabbed the knife into Hyde's back. Hyde growled low under his breath.
Rain stood to her feet in time to dodge Hyde's attack towards Brandon. Rain stood in the threshold watching both her creations battle it out. Rain looked down towards her feet; she did want to watch her creations fight. She wanted to live here in this world in peace she didn't want fighting.
"Rain!" Brandon barked at rain making her look up in time to dodge the knife racing towards her. Rain looked at the two of them and saw Hyde without a knife in his hand. She looked back towards the knife that was now stuck in the doorframe. She grabbed it out of the wood and ran towards Hyde screaming.
"I told you to stop!" She screamed before crashing into Hyde. Hyde was quickly enough to grab the knife before it could hit him in the chest. Rain stood there with fury in her eyes. She started Hyde down until he twisted Rain's wrist making her cringe in pain and drop the blade to the floor. Hyde pushed Rain back down onto the floor and grabbed the knife.
Brandon ran over to Rain to help her up, but Hyde lunged towards Brandon smashing him to the ground. Brandon tumbled on the tile floor away from Rain's frightened body. Hyde flipped over Brandon and lunged at Rain this time. Before Hyde could reach Rain, Brandon grabbed his ankle pulling him back away from her.
Rain was able to stand to her feet and stumble over to the doorframe. She stood there clutching the frame for support as she watched Hyde and Brandon attack each other. Ten long minutes past and Hyde had Brandon back up to a wall. Brandon was badly bruised and cut up. Hyde had his shares of cut too.
"Look at her one more time!" Hyde screamed grabbing Brandon's hair and pulling him towards Rain so he could see Rain. "This will be your last time." He said slamming Brandon back into the wall.
Tears stand Rain's face as she watched Brandon and Hyde.
"Hyde! Please stop this!" She screamed while running over to Hyde, just before he stabbed Brandon, and grabbed Hyde wrist twisting him around to face her. Hyde let his grip go that he had around Brandon letting his body fall towards the cold tiles.
Rain just stood there staring at Hyde as Hyde started back. Rain knew there was away to get Hyde back to his normal self. She just didn't know what that way was. Hyde's eyes wouldn't show any kindness in them. Rain knew that he wasn't completely bad he had her soul.
"I know your still in there Hyde!" She screamed before slapping Hyde in the face. Hyde grabbed Rain by the throat and slammed her into the wall. Rain didn't let noise or cringes escape her body. She wouldn't show Hyde that she was weak.
"You have guts my beloved Rain, but you don't want to challenge me." He whispered into her ear. Rain just stood there emotionless. Hyde grabbed her around her upper arm and threw her towards the doorframe. Rain fell on the ground tumbling uncontrollably towards the doorframe.
Hyde ran over to Rain and kicked her in the stomach before leaning down and grabbing her by her hair. Hyde picked her up and threw her and Brandon, who was trying to stand to his feet. Rain collided with Brandon sending him back on the floor.
Rain quickly jumped to her feet and grabbed Brandon by the arm pulling him to his feet. Rain grabbed Brandon's hand and dragged him to the doorway. Hyde grabbed Brandon before his could past threw the doorframe.
Rain instantly turned around and watched as Hyde smashed Brandon into the wall across from Rain, back towards her, and stabbed him in the gut. Hyde stepped back from Brandon and watched as he helplessly fell to the cold tiles. Brandon lied rigid on the cold tiles his eyes wide open, staring like two glass beads at the ceiling. He was dead. Hyde, too, was on the ground, bleeding. Rain could see a knife plunged deep into his chest.
Rain sobbed, buckling down in the threshold.
"Why are you crying, Rain?" Hyde quoted while staggering to his feet. He took one step towards the threshold. Rain stayed dormant on the floor, staring at Brandon's unmoving and static body.
"Remember, Child, you created me, because you were alone in this world." Hyde uttered while falling forward into Rains icy and stiff arms. His body became limp in her arms his words echoed through the room. Rain slowly looked down at Hyde and he's crystal blues eyes were no longer clouded with the nothingness. Before Hyde's eyes glazed over, he said to her,
"I love you…"
Rain howled, pulling Hyde's motionless body closer to her. She held his limp head to hers and kissed his head while sobbing. Crystal tears fell from her liquid green eyes and landed in Hyde's hair. Rain sat there shocked for hours holding Hyde's body in her arms.
After a while Rain slowly laid Hyde's static body on the cold tiles and closed his eyelids so she didn't have to stare at his glazed over crystal blue eyes. She slowly pushed herself off the cold tiles. She stared at both figures stagnant bodies one last time before leaving this morgue like room.
Rain walked threw the dark and musty hall to the steps. She set one bare foot on the first step and let out a sigh. She looked back towards the room; one signal tear fell from her left eye. She took in a deep breath and continued to walk up the clammy steps. Rain reached for the doorknob once her stiff hand clutched the knob flashbacks of that first day, when Hyde locked her down here, flashed threw her mind.
She shook off the horrible memories, twisted the knob and walked out onto the main floor. She slowly walked down the hall and into the living room and kitchen. Memories of her and Hyde eating in the kitchen flashed threw her mind. Then memories of him chasing her threw the kitchen destroyed the other memories.
She looked towards the living room and remembered her first kiss with Hyde. She watched her silliness when she was spinning around in the room laughing and giggling. Rain let out a sigh and continued walking to the front door. She set her cold hand down on the knob no memories this time.
Rain shuttered when no sudden memories came. Ran could handle all this memories any longer. She ripping the door open and ran out on the porch. She ran straight to one of the porch pillars and wrapped her arms and the sturdy wood. She let her body go limp around the pillar.
Rain looked around the porch and remembered all her cloudless memories of Hyde chasing her to Hyde protecting her from Brandon and Cody. When she looked out towards the water she could see herself running down the beach away from Hyde, Brandon, and Cody. Ran couldn't stay here any longer there were too many hurtful memories.
She released the pillar in a hurry and ran down the porch to the steps. She didn't mind taking the steps she just jumped off the porch and straight onto the sandy beach. She stumbled a couple times before regaining her balance. Rain ran towards the woods in a hurry to get the house and petrify memories out of sight.
Rain broke threw the woods line and onto the beach where she landed when she entered this world. She ran to the shoreline looking out over the sea. Rain could feel her legs giving way beneath her. Falling to her knees Rain sat there mournful by everything.
Rain looked down at the sand beneath her. She picked a handful of the warm and relaxing sand. She watched as it strained out threw her fingers. Rain looked back out towards the sea once more hopping that this would all go away. That when she saw her everything closer in the distance then it was before. She ran out into the sea hopping his time that she could reach it.
Once Rain stepped into the water, she could feel her body disintegrating. The crystal water swarmed around her. Pieces of Rain's body turned into crystals breaking free from her and spiraling into the sky. Rain watched, as she became piece of crystals in the sky. Rain world went black she couldn’t' see anymore. She felt herself slip into unconsciousness.

~*~

It was dark and lonely in this place the only noise was the faint sounds of birds chirping. Rain could feel herself become warmer. Her flawless skin grew warmer. Rain was confused was she dead. Rain final was able to open her eyes. The first thing she saw was a willow tree hanging above her. Rain could hear the faint sounds of the seawater.
Leaning up on her elbows Rain could see the sandy beach of her world and the crystal blue sea rushing onto shore and then back into the sea once more. Rain looked over to her right and saw everything. Then to her left she saw her everything also.
Rain looked back out towards the sea, she was surprised to see Hyde walking out of the sea towards her. Rain could feel the life coming back to her check when she saw Hyde walking out of the water towards her.

~Slow Motion~

Rain stood to her feet not caring to brush off all the sand that was on her butt and back. She ran towards Hyde arms stretched out wide. Hyde's smiled at Rain. Rain melted inside when she saw him smiling at her. His flawless face his perfect teeth everything about him made Rain melt inside. Rain was so close to having Hyde in her arms once again, this time alive.
She leaned forward to fall into his arms. When Rain's body should have collided with Hyde's, she started falling. Hyde disappeared, shattered right in front of Rain. Rain fell towards the ground smashing into the ground and falling back into unconsciousness.

~*~

"What's her status?" Asked an unfamiliar voice to Rain. When she slowly opened her eyes, she could see that she wasn't in her world any longer. No she was in the real world. Rain could see her battered and bruised body in the hospital mirrors that hung on the ceilings above her. She could tell that she was cut badly, because every time her heart pounded in her chest she could feel in all the cuts on her body.
Rain couldn't take the pain any longer and past out on the stretcher.

~*~

Rain lay motionless and dreamless she could only hear the faint noises of the hospital monitor beeping in the background. She suddenly heard a voice some where in the distance she recognized this voice. Rain tried her hardest to open her crusted eyes.
She could still hear the voice she was finally able to open her eyes and see. Rain looked around the room to see no one is sight. She looked out the door and still say no one. Rain lied her head back down on the pillow she keep her head faced towards the door just to make sure that she wasn’t dreaming that someone she knew was standing out there for her.
Minutes went by and Rain could still hear the faint voice in the distance. That was when they walked into the room.
“Hello, Rain.” Hyde said with a huge smile on his face.
