October, our favorite month,
Covers our world of gold.
Oaks golden droppings on our patio
Glorious color to behold

Orange orbs decorate doorsteps,
Flowers of yellow to love
Colors most extraordinary,
blow down from above.

Now ghosts go out booing
Do you show you’re bold?
Halloween’s our favorite!
Ghouls’ odd stories retold

How you do love October!
Colors yellow, orange or gold
for our beloved October
You show your joy untold
