One sided where it may seem many; yet infinite in complexity is our life
Do I know? No.
nor do I care
which way the wind blows.
it may move the storms
and determine my fate,
yet I will denounce
and ignore its power over me

I am a stone in a field of dreams
a feather floating in an airless pit

the stars perpetuate themselves farther away.
While the magma spews into our realm.
The stars could not possibly speak of fate,
for their words lie in darkness

my substantiation comes from without
a whisper floating into an empty cave

the smell. Burning,
sulfuric, blinding at times,
and at times enlightening.
To breath it in is to live.
To ignore – die.
Impossible to be without having tasted
the light, the smell, the pain.
Taste is how to experience

And all will stop
whether it be
after one step
or a million more

all will finally fade
the takeover of truth
the usurping of wills
by black
faith save no man
conviction prevent no eternity
savagery hasten no demise
man strives to fall
