love, powerful and forfilling, but sometimes damaging, it can leave you broken inside
Within the heat of the night I felt you beside me
I felt love
I was loved
Firm hands upon my vulnerable body
I let go, let passion rule my senses
Wildness never felt before
An inner darkness I have never before revealed
Then it was over
You were gone,
A piece of my heart, my soul within your pocket
I am alone, naked,
Lost
Broken inside, I only have my tears
Is love supposed to hurt?
Leave me feeling ugly inside?
My world was on top, soaring within the winds
Now it lies crumbled upon the floor,
Stepped on and swept out the door.
Am I a trophy?
A thing only to be conquered?
That night, I felt love
Was loved
I wish it had lasted
A fleeting moment gone,
Lost forever,
Just as I am lost
I am more broken then before,
More wounds to heal
More scars to form
I wish I had waited,
But my soul thirsts for more
Love,
Acceptance,
Something that shouldn’t hurt
Leave you broken inside,
The hole in my heart wasn’t filled,
Loving you was supposed to fill me,
Make me complete
It wasn’t just my innocence you took,
No you took me.
I am broken inside
Dying inside
Within the heat of the night I felt you
But in the morning’s light you were gone.
