This is a memory of my childhood plus an update of the children I know and love of today.
Black girls with tea water curls, Jammin, Jammin,
Black girls with pretty skin, love that's slamin, slamin,
They're doin the Ice tea Jam,
Hair hanging down ther backs, walking, talking, making tracks,
Through the hearts and minds of men,
Making them remember when their ladies were young and fine,
Turning back the hands of time,
Once more in an Ice Tea Jam,
Ain't no wham, bam, and thank you mam,
It's an ice tea jammin time,
Spit curls hanging down their backs,
Skin as shiny as shilac,
Hardwood floors at the house parties stompin,
Music loud, music pumpin,
Strutting their stuff down the street,
Ice Tea Curls digging the beat,
She'll be tossing back her pretty head,
Nothing left to say it's all been said,
Take me to the Ice Tea Jam, where all the fine girls go,
Take me there I want to see who I am,
I want to know what the fine girls know,
Don't change me, let me jam,
Let me be who I am, Jammin to the Ice Tea Jam...
