Another oldie...depicting death.
Death's Hands

The cold clutch of death's hands,

Grasped my heart; abandoning time's slipping sands.

I felt my life slowly slipping away.

The world as I knew it was ripped from me today.

All the love and blasphemous hate,

All the lust and bullshit fate.

I saw my life flicker, flash, and fade.

It played through my head in a masquerade.

As I gulped in my last breath,

Instead of fearing inevitability...

I welcomed death.
