Just a fluffy girly little poem I did because I was in a good mood.
Lilac shimmer, purple glimmer.
I promise mom,
I'll be home by dinner.
Out to the garden I frolic,
Through the thicket that dad just cut slimmer.
I spin and dance in reverence,
When I jump over the stream,
I'm taking a chance.
I frighten the rabbit
Back into it's hole
I run my fingers through the bushes, just out of habit.
At five years old, I build a house
For faerie folk.
It's as small as a mouse.
I play for a while,
Whispering imaginary concepts
That make my mom, listening secretly, smile.
She shakes her head, heart filled with love,
Cherishing every moment of my childhood bliss,
Knowing it's as delicate and pure as a dove.
