A poem of my thoughts on the struggles and fights we have to face in our lives.
The race is just beginning, the crowds are always there
But deep down in my heart, I wonder, do they really care?
I have to keep on running, but where's the finish line
I have to keep on looking, to find the life that's mine
A life that God has promised me
From before my very birth
A destiny that will show them all
Who ever doubted my worth
I might be tired in the race, but I have to keep on fighting
So my story I can tell, and share, through my testimony
and my writing
God's love is never ending, a prize that never ceases
It's when we run our race TOWARDS HIM, that our chance of winning
finally increases
So I'll run TOWARDS the prize with all my might
So even in the darkest night
I can see that my life is truly beginning
Because in the race of my life,
I'm FINALLY WINNING
