"You play while I wait in the car. Daddy should be here soon."

Chelsea hops out. I sit, watching my daughter dancing and laughing with delight. Snow sticks to her hair and melts on her tongue.

A small silver car pulls in. I wave, but he stares straight ahead. My husband is just as mesmerized.
