I stand, balancing in five inch heels under bright, hot lights.

The judges whisper.

Six months of grueling exercise and extreme dieting halt for this moment.

"...Finally, number 57, please step forward. Ladies and gentlemen, these are the top five."

I stand frozen under bright, hot lights. Tears sting my eyes, yet my smile remains.
