about the scarcity of peace in today's world, mingled with some mythical feelings.
THE BROKEN ANGEL

Rahul Ghosh

Though the Sun had gone down
A magical light remained there.
The sky was grey, the clouds were reddish
A gloomy picture of grief and despair.
There I saw the broken angel
Broken she was, as her wings were lost.
I saw the beautiful eyes crying
The wings were fallen in the dust.
She was telling me something
I couldn't hear her voice though
I couldn't read her lips as well
"Love", "trust" were only the words came in a row.
Suddenly I heared so many voices
"Give us back our harmony" was the scream.
Then I realised those as of our souls
And her presence as a reality, not merely a dream.
