A man and a mole who enjoy partying and drinking
There was once an old man,Who lived down a hole,He was as blind as a bat,And his best friend was a mole. Old they both were,But oh how they did have fun,Dancing and drinking, Until the night was done. Now, one nightWhen the moon was high,And the light shone down,Into the mole's black eye."Tell me old man,"He whispered clear,"What is it that,You do so fear?""I fear so much,"Came the old man's reply,"Being taunted and mockedUntil the day I die,And the world around me, Is changing so fast,That I will be forgotten,And become part of the past."Mole thought about the man's reply,And wish he could share his fears,No words of wisdom came to him,But a string of tears. So instead, the old blind mole,Said to his friend,"Let's dance and be merry,Until the night comes to an end".
