Just some nostalgic words that came to me late one night
Youthgul Hopes, Dreams and Experiences

Have you ever looked through an old photo album and found your memories come rushing back? Well I have, just the other day in fact. I was looking at pictures from the eigth grade. I saw pictures of me with some of my crazy hair-dos and some downright horrifying ones. Some of them made me laugh until I had tears in my eyes.

I looked at pictures of me with my friends and in some of them I couldn't even begin to imagine what was going through our heads. Like the one of us all doubled over with laughter, but nothing in the photo hinted at what was so funny. Or, the one of me and my closest friends all laying in a circle on the trampoline, we look so deep in conversation that it makes me wonder what a bunch of 14-year-olds could possibly find so serious.

Some of those pictures made me cry. Like the ones from our grade eight graduation night. We were all dressed to impress and smiling politely at the photographer. As I looked through that batch I relived the last day I spent with a lot of very special people in my life. Every single one of those people in that photograph affected my life in some way, and it hurt to let them go. Although no one there that night would know that, because I was the only one who didn't cry. I didn't see a point in crying over the inevitable.

I looked at the photo album for hours, reliving the simple joys of my childhood and trying desperately to pretend that some of it never happened.
