My love dilemma. Oh, those crazy boys!! :)
I always used to see them kiss,
I didn't even want a taste.
Love, a thing I wouldn't miss.
All before I saw your face.

You sat beside me one sweet day,
A joke, a laugh, kind things we share.
My heart flutters, you pass my way.
I pretend you do not care.

Then you start to talk a lot,
Leading me to think of you.
But the girl that you have got,
You tell me that your love is true.

I see you smile when you walk,
But her gaze is hard as stone.
Animated when you talk,
She acts as if she's all alone.

You deserve a girl who gives,
With all her heart and even more.
One who for you solely lives.
Who knows just how to adore.

Why did you come spend your time,
At my house, right next to me?
I thought you two were great, just fine.
Could I have just set you free?

Meet me at the park, you said.
So I waited quite a bit.
That night I slipped right into bed.
Never saw you, took a hit.

But the next day, you seem great,
So I pretend it's all the same.
Cause my heart to palpitate,
When I hear you say my name.

You don't know how just today,
I listened close as you two passed.
I failed to keep my smile at bay
When I heard the end at last.

My heart, it jumped, I couldn't breathe.
I didn't know quite what to do.
Could it be because of me?
Or was it simply she and you?

Why did you break up your pair?
Did she do you some great wrong?
Was there something we both shared?
I think I knew it all along.

Now tonight I'll think of this,
Wondering, Will it all play out?
Be with you, my deepest wish,
Something that I long to shout.

So I sit and contemplate
Whether we will ever be.
It's safe to say I trust in fate,
So, for now, I'll wait and see.
