My life is a dark cell
I watch from behind these iron bars.
                            Watching those who watch me.
Those who think they see my true self.
                                  But in truth they're blind.

                                I'm trapped inside this cell,
                                  Watching my life pass by.
                            Hiding, from the unblinking world.
                                Fearing the eyes of society.

Only alone can I leave this hell.
                                Where society cannot see.
To open my eyes and see the world
And judge those who judge me.

Few can see the true me.
And see what I really hide.
Ones like me who hide from the world.
In the cell that is our mind.
