A dark poem
                                        Blizzard

                                    Here I trudge
                      Through this frozen wasteland
Not knowing from were I came
Or were I am to go
                                  I simply trudge

Every step is like the last
Through this endless field of white
And with every step I take
A little bit of me is left behind
                          As I slowly fade away

Ahead of me is only white
                      Above, below, left, and right
                          The only thing is white
But I dare not look behind
For I fear what I may be there

                          I slowly loose all feeling
                      And my fear slowly fades
I cast away my fear and doubt
And look behind the way I came

To my horror, in the snow
Lies face down, a frozen man
I turn him over and am scared to find
                          The frozen man is me
