Saying goodbye after a much needed end to a relationship.
Running through the forrest laughing.
Playing hide and go seek.
You always kept yourself well hidden from the world.
You tagged me and stole my heart away.
My heart was open to you, yours always locked away from prying hands.
Peaking around a tree or boulder at me, you still hide who you are and won't let me come near.
Breathless, I give up trying.
You are now just a shaddow.
Finally, you unlock your heart, you come out from the dark.
Yet, by this time, the forest has grown cold and the laughter has stopped.
I take your heart and break it like glass.
No longer do I wish to have what was so hard to get and what hurt me so many times.
Turning the other direction, you walk away, never to turn back.
The broken peices lay untouched forever on the ground of our adventure, our forest, our ending.
