"Don't you just hate those flashbacks? They just attack you out of the blue..."
Don't you just hate those flashbacks.

They just attack you out of the blue
Making you feel so glum
And when you are through
You're just filled with gloom.

I was just clicking away on facebook and a particular profile caught me eye. It made me reminisce and wish for something so elusive... that flew out of my grasp three years ago. I wished with all my heart that he was the one God chose for me, but I guess God has other plans for the both of us. Even as I recollect the stuff we did together, how we used to know what was on each other's mind without saying a word, how it just felt so right and good when we hung out, I feel an enveloping sadness at what could have and should have been.

Uttering his familiar name when looking at his page, just brings on a whole myriad of feelings. I know I should stay my mouse, but yet, I can't help myself, and with a sigh, I added him.
