A different type of rhyme scheme, perhaps older, or archaeic.
The day the world stood still

    a murder done, war won

    upon a far off hill

    by the Almighty's will

The sun, she hid her face in shock

victory won, by GOD's own Son

the heavens wept, washing the rock

dead arose, from their graves to walk

The very earth, it groaned in pain

    swords stilled as angels milled

the sod was washed by rain

    the victory anulled soul stain

Soul stain gone, with ancient song

a new day, a new lay

the Son arose, like dawn all day long

upon a new morn, Diabhol proved wrong

Within the depths, teeth were gnashed

as the dark one's plans were smashed
