A warriors view on life
When the whole world's aflame
then my blood burns bright
I prepare for the coming fight
as bombs burst on my sight
I protect innocents from the same

I see the overwhelming flood
and try to hold back the tide
for this many have fought and died
and soldier's wives have cried
we would spend our last drop of blood
