An ode to the tear drops.
Roll on, my dear beauties,
roll over my cheeks and yonder,
until you reach my chin unhindered
and then just drop off, orphaned.

Roll on, my dear little pearl beads
there are more to replace you,
my blurry eyes ensure that
and my grieving heart promises.

Roll on, my dear icons,
you represent my life's lessons
that I would try to remember;
I now know how to do it better.

Roll on, my objectified emotions,
you cause me hurt now temporarily,
but that is a very little price to pay
if I would become wiser in the process.

Roll on, my dear driblets,
my face crumpled, as my eyes bleed,
I hide my face within my palms,
I seek solitude and shun company.

Roll on, my dear reminders,
I have not been a stupid,
just a stumbling novice learning
how to walk on the road of life.

Roll on, my dear sweethearts,
roll on, and make me happy.
