A depiction of how harsh love can be.
My heart met yours, thought it had seen,
a partner for life, a companion forever.
Little did it know, that it would be,
a fatal dance, with a merciless wringer.

Meeting of two hearts as is supposed,
should produce lively music, a resonance.
But it was just a harsh sombre sound,
the one of hard metal against soft flesh.

I felt hurt at the first clash, just like the last,
I just gave it time, hoping it would become better,
always accepting pain, being foolishly optimistic.
I only see it now, when I am all bloodied and bruised.

While I am like this, you are maybe still cool,
unaffected, still the same steel hearted robot.
Happen whatever may, I would not blame you,
I told you that, and I would keep my promise.
