A poem stating the intrigue of art.
What is it
About art
That intrigues us so?
Is it the thought?
The effort?
The inspiration?
Or is it merely
That which art intrigues is
Those who produce art themselves?
Or is art an illusion
A shield which hides a broken soul?
Does art accommodate
Only those who lost something themselves?
Or is art
Pain captured on canvas?
