Who am I today?
What face do they see?
I long for the happiness of life.
Yet I am torn by who I am.
I wear a smile for friends,
Though my pain never truly shows.
Why can’t my face look like my masks?
It hides in the shadows.
Masked by the smile others see.
This is the smile that I want.
