Kelly had always avoided visiting her aunt. one day she has no choice
The car screeched to a halt infront of an unkempt pathway. The wind blew furiously making creepy funny noises. The trees in the vicinity trembled and shook threateningly.
Kelly clutched the bunch of roses she had bought tighter to her chest. On the driver's seat, next to her's, sat Dad, drumming his fingers on the stering wheel, looking at her patiently.
"Well, move on already," he said at last, leaning forward and opening the door for her. "I'll be waiting here."
Kelly looked at her Dad, pleadingly but he looked firm. Knowing she had no choice, she stepped out of the car, pulling her jacket tightly around herself.
the wind whipped her face, sending her open hair flying aroung her face. Bracing herself, she walked resolutely towards the large black gate that loomed before her.
As though expecting her arrival, it suddenly opened wide, producing the creepy creaking sounds that left her wincing.
She went inside and started searching. She walked hurriedly, hoping to get back as soon as possible. At last, overwhelmed with relief, she found it and ran towards it.
There, lying beneath the beautifully carved granite lay her aunt, unseen.
She bend down, chanting a prayer to herself, and placed the flowers on it. as she straightened up, she felt a shadow fall on her.
She screamed out loud, and without turning ran with all her might. She heard running footsteps behind her and ran faster. The gateway came with in sight and was getting closer and closer..
She suddenly tripped, landing face down on the ground. She heard shuffling of feet and looked up...into the face of her Aunt.
"Hello Kelly.." grinned her Aunt, giving her a toothless smile.
"KELLY," shouted a voice, "Get up. I don't have all time. Wake up!"
Kelly snapped her eyes open and found her Dad looking at her impatiently.
"You dozed off," he replied to her questioning look "Now get out of the car. I havent got all day."
What?
Kelly gulped and looked out of the car.
There, in front of her, loomed the great black doors, ominously beckoning her.
