A poem writen in the memory of my best friend and one of the loves of my life.
Best friends
In Loving memory of Brandon McDonald
March 18, 1989 – march 7, 2008

Best friends make you, you,
They laugh at with you to say they have been there,
They cry with you,
They smile with you,
They hold you,
They never die in you,
They drink with you,
They’re always with you even if they’re gone,
When you’re mad they are mad,
And when you’re sad they are sad,

Best friends save you from reality,
And when they can’t they make you forget everything anyway,
They hide you from those who hurt you,
The copy all your homework,
Get you in and out of trouble,
But when you’re in need of some one they come through,
When you want to cry they offer a shoulder,
When you want to bag on your ex’s they help you,

When a Best friend die’s they never really go,
They just wait at heavens gait to bring you home too,
They know how you miss them cus they miss you to,
But the day you come to them it will be as if you were never apart,
They still smile and they still laugh and maybe even cry,
And you will never leave each other’s side,
Once again you will walk hand in hand this time forever,

Best friends are forever,
And you’re my best friend,
Now you’re gone but still here,
Next to my heart,
And the whisper in my ear.
