Just another poem about the woes of love.
Why do you act so ashamed
When I was the one we both blamed?
How many times,
Was I told it would all be the same?
Alone in my memories
The way you used to hold my hand
And every smile you shared with me.
And…

I can’t get over you
Even though I keep trying to…
I’m just living in my memories.
How can my heart move on from this
When I close my eyes and see your face
And I don’t know what to do
If I can’t get over you

I can’t believe in you.
Why do I love you?
I can’t keep thinking of you.
Do I really need you?
What’s this dream I’m holding onto?
Baby, can’t you understand?
My heart is in your hand.
And I can’t get over you

Baby, I love you
I can’t get my mind off of you
I’m just living in this memory
That I can’t forget.
Even now, in my waking dream
Baby, I love you
And I can’t make my heart get…
Over you.
