a chance encouter with brown asbestos represented in allegorical terms

Princess of death
Hiding in this town
Patient warrioress
Like a she-snake
Deadly and with no sound

Dwelling in the rooftops
There she makes her bed
Like an Egyptian Goddess
Calling out unto the dead

She wears her black perfume
Eye shadow thick & brown
Dressed for seduction
In her see-through evening gown

Her voice heard in the ceiling
Her eyes, the lights up there
I see all her movements
And wish with her one night to share

As I enter into the breach
A crypt-like atmosphere
Poison pyramid full of bodies,
Asbestosised,
But to hers I do draw near

As soon as I embrace her
She is dust that falls to ground
With one breath she is everywhere
Her image all around

Then I inhale of her essence
And where no life as my crown
Open sarcophagus invitation
Now beside her I lay down

But I was captured
By sleeping beauty
Lady like a pillow
Lying there in peace

As soon as I kissed her
And waked her fibre dream
She coughed and she hissed
Then dealt her lethal blow
All she ever wanted, was to be
Just left alone......
