The science behind the art of flirting
When talking about relationships and all the stuff behind them, everybody seems to have their own secrets and advices to make them successful. Some people claim that is from the flirting phase where you start winning in the game of love. But do they really know what is flirt and why they do that? Flirting is not only for single people, married ones also can flirt, but the consequences over it could be devastating.

A recent article from Time Magazine, tried to answer all our doubts about flirting by summarizing the results of years of researches, which have been taken to discover how human relationships work. Flirting is this attitudes whole, such as gestures, stances, and eyes movements, that everybody has experienced by themselves at least once in their life, and are cues for the “heterosexual relationship initiation process”.So flirting is not only for single people, but also for married ones.  Many of them you don't even intend to dominate or flee, and are useful messages for potential mates, so they can proceed to that awkward talking phase. Flirting is not always intentional because it could be influenced by ovulating cycle, at least in women. But when it converts into the verbal phase, then it is intentional. This is the best way to capture the interest of the other person and see if he/she wants to play with us. Furthermore, it can become a social fallback position because we learn how to behave in certain situations, so many times we enact these scripts without even thinking, and it can be really helpful in reducing the friction of everyday transactions. However, flirting with the wrong person could be dangerous because can make you to run the risk of everything, from a slap to a sexual-harassment lawsuit. Regarding to the digital world, flirting can be a little bit different because it is more bolder, racier and unimpeded by moments of reflection due to you don't have to look into people's eyes.  Most people who flirt are not looking for an affair; however, when it is married flirting it means a much greater degree of danger and fantasy because the ones who cheat are dissatisfied with themselves and the way their lives have turned out. And knowing that someone falls in love with them is very affirming and revitalizing to their life.

In the article, the author tried to explain us how we can act unconscious many times, just as a result of our instincts. This could explain why we often can't understand other's attitudes regarding to flirting because although everybody does it, we don't even realize when we are doing it.  Despite all of the risks people continue flirting, not because they don't realize them. It is because we can't control the instincts that make us to act in this way, just to find the right person who could share the rest of its life with us. No matter how and where, nobody wants to be lonely and flirting is a good way to meet people.

Thus, flirting are all those attitudes which let us to meet people not only in bars, but in the internet too. We can't stop it because if you are flirting with the right person, you surely will enjoy it. If it doesn't include flirting with a married person, it will never be dangerous. So what are you waiting for? Go ahead! because there are lots of single people who are waiting to flirt with someone as you.
