When my wife left me alone in jail.
Constant pain,
racking my heart and brain,
driving me insane,
loving you was it in vain?
thought we felt the same,
you carry my last name,
playing a foolish game,
LIFE......
not monopoly,
but reality
in jeopardy,
lost in my mind,
looking but can not find,
YOU......
was not true,
what to do?
losing sight,
out of view.
letters wrote,
words spoke,
promises broke,
as I sit here and choke
back the tears...
hiding pain from my peers..
waiting to witness
the weakness in my eyes.
hearing from you less and less,
like a baby bird
kicked from the nest.
LIVE or DIE.....
my tears run dry..
broken wing
can not fly
HELLO....
GOODBYE....
turned to my friend,
there till the end.
reap what you sow,
the seed of contempt.
love limp,
gone like a blimp.
you meant
everything to me,
TAKEN AWAY.
