When fate calls upon you, would you fly or fall? PLEASE R&R!!
Screams echo in the deepest chasms of my mind,
Resounding in the pulsating beat of my heart,
Fates looming glance can't be ignored,
Tears from the beginning heal from the start.

Bound by our destiny, what can't be escaped,
Hope shadowed by the regret of past dues,
Cold hands grasping at what light drips in,
Close the chapter to only begin anew.

“Come down from the sky, bird,
Today you must fall!”
Hiding from the inevitable,
Giving way to Fates sad call.

Fall, Phoenix, Fall

Crimson and gold feathers ignite,
Slowly descend upon the Earth,
Glorious flames erupt on winged tips,
Return to most original birth.

Scents of cinnamon drift upwards,
Colloquial lyrics gather in the sky,
Stillness sets upon the chaos,
First gasped breaths imply.

Ashes to ashes,
When we fall we must rise,
Scarred but left whole,
This is not my demise.

Fly, Phoenix, Fly
