how time moves, changes, gives, and takes
                            As Time Goes On

In swirling frothy foam, sparkling stones scatter on the sands.

Then slowly ebbing out to sea again, to churn and roll beneath.

Watching as the blue-green colors move in waves, stirring white.

Pushing toward the shore again in wonder and delight,
more sparkling stones.

As sea gulls scatter then alight, walk softly on the sand, pick a stone and taste the salt then lay it down again.

A shell so beautiful in pinks, with silver blues; a crab sees the beauty and says to himself, a lovely home for me.

Then in rushes the ocean to the limit it is allowed, to
scatter sea weed upon the sand, for hungry birds to feed.

How lovely the white foam sprays up into the air, and
comes raining down again; the water churns and rolls beneath, so long as time goes on.
