When Rachelle has to say good bye to her true love
Rachelle held Nick's hand tightly, her knuckles were turning white, as she tried to hold back the tears that so wanted to drizzle down her delicate face. She glanced over to her fiance. He had been quiet the whole entire trip to the airport.

"Nick?" she whispered.

"Yes?" Nick didn't look at her. She knew he hated to see her cry. His baby blue eyes were lowered to his lap, watching his own fingers caress hers

"Do you think....I mean will we ever see each other again?"

"I don't know, Rachelle. I hope so."

Rachelle was leaving for Alabama, Nick and her had been having problems ever since she moved up to Ohio to be with him, she felt it would be best if they parted ways for a while. She didn't want to though, she despised her family, and she knew that if she went back home, she would most likely never see her love again.

Rachelle's brown hair fell over her face, hiding her tear filled blue eyes, she didn't like this feeling. She didn't want to lose the only man she ever truely loved.

Nick glanced over to Rachelle, a look of concern fell over his strong masculine features, he let go of her hand and moved it to her cheek, caressing it gently as he shifted her face to look into his eyes.

"Everything will be alright, my love, You'll see." Nick leaned over to kiss her forehead, giving her a small smile. A smile she knew wasn't real. And even though she wanted to believe what he was saying, she couldn't.

The taxi finally stopped infront of the airport. Rachelle relunctantly stepped out into the rainy weather soaked afternoon.

Perfect, she thought to herself. Exactly the way I feel, depressed and dismal.

Rachelle quickly stepped under the entrance way of the airport, water clinging to her bangs, watching Nick pay the cab driver and grab her luggage. She never believed in having many material posessions, All she really needed was her clothes, and she was set.

Without a word from them both, they walked inside, passing the ticket counter and making their way toward the gate her plane would be at.

"Gate 9?" Nick asked under his breath.

"Yes." she said, finding two empty seats infront of the window facing the runway.

The planes were landing and taking off, the hustle and bustle of the crowd made Rachelle nervous and more anxious than she was before. She let out a small sigh as she finally heard her gate being called over the loudspeaker.

"Well...this is it." she said sadly.

"Yeah." Nick responded, he stood up, gesturing to take her hand and lead her to the gate.

"Nick?"

"Yes?"

"I love you." Rachelle couldn't hold back her tears, Her face soaked with a mixture of her sobbing and the rain.

Nick grabbed Rachelle, pulling her close, his masculine arms holding her in a loving embrace as they both began to cry. He looked down to her, He was very much taller than she, and she always teased him about it. He began to wipe the tears from her eyes, leaning down to plant a sweet, sensual, deep kiss on her lips. Rachelle wished it could last forever.

"I love you with all my heart, Rach. Call me when you get home...and know that I will always and forever love you."

His words just made it harder to say goodbye, she gave him one last kiss before hesitantly pulling away and picking her bags up, handing her ticket to the flight attendant, and then turning to glance at her fiance one last time. She gave him a sweet smile, not very convincing. Blowing him one last kiss.

"I'll miss you, my beloved.....I love you."
