For anyone who has ever felt like they don't belong.
The flames have exploded out of my mouth.
Insides boiled ten times over.
You will never extinguish.
Just let me turn to dust.
Turn your head,
What you didn’t see, never happened.
I realize that there is not much worth saving.
My ideals will never meet yours.
I’m sorry I’m so different.
I’m sorry I’m not worth the trouble.
Soon I’ll be nothing more than a pile of ash on the floor.
Sweep me away.
Out of your hair.
Gone forever.
My familiar face
Still so unfamiliar.
My smiles are fake,
My eyes telling only lies.
See what you want to see.
Cut my veins and hang me out to dry.
You saw no human here.
I don’t blame you,
I just wish I made more sense.
My shape is oblong.
The piece that never fits.
I wish I were made like you,
Perfect and so defined.
Discard me.
For I am not
One bit
The same as you.
And for that I shall be punished.
