A poem of maternal love
You made your journey to me
now I hold you sleeping
you are perfect
so peaceful
pure
You wake
to this world
you are so afraid
but I will love you
and guide you through it all
I will love you always
and in the end
I know that
you'll hold
me
as I
make my journey
though I'll be scared
I will be held close
I will know I was loved.
