Till death do us part......
I gave her a bath
and brushed out her hair.
Dried her so softly
and dressed her with care.

I lifted her up
and placed her in bed
"Sleep soundly now,
Dear, rest your sweet head"

"I'll miss you kind man"
She murmured to me.
"Visit tomorrow?"
I whispered "We'll see."

I opened the door
and turned off the light.
She cried out in terror,
her eyes filled with fright.

I laid down to hold her,
the love of my life.
She thinks I'm a stranger,
but she's really my wife.
