Winter Wedding

The stylus of frost
has penned the invitation
in script upon your window,
and you may stay or go,

And the snow is maid
to the orchard bride,
is dressing her with care
from shoulder to the ground,

For tonight is the night
the blood of the wind will
pierce her in his passion
and awaken the womb of the year.
