my empty poem
I feel like I’m falling out of the heavens above,
Give me some wings so I may fly like a dove.
Give me legs so I may walk a thousand miles,
Unpredictable, untamed, and mystified like the x-files.
Smooth in touch but rough in attitude,
One thing that changes constantly is the empty mood.
Empty like the look in my eyes, empty like my soul.
Lost like a child in field with no where to go.
I wish I could find my way back; back to reality that is.
I feel like a sane person gone mad and is having a hard
Time to live.
Cloudy skies, rainy days and foggy but still nights.
I can’t see I’m blind help me walk; walk through
This so called life.
I try to walk but my legs are broke, I try to crawl but
Can’t find the ground.
I try to listen but I’m deaf and I hear no sound.
I’m empty - empty like the feeling of a broken heart-
Empty like the look in my eyes- empty like my soul.
Lost like a child in a field with no where to go!
