Why is a question that is often asked
when knowledge sought is masked
children repeat it as they learn
a familar question at lifes each turn
you hear it at work here it at play
something asked every single day
seeking answers from you and me
forget how annoying this word can be
how silly or simple the question was
please dont answer with just because
