Silence. A distraction had happened before this was written.
Silence

As a child, I never understood silence.

It was boring, lifeless.

Why would anyone want such a hush?

I had always wanted action.

There was the need to be dynamic.

Then one day, I was older.

Stress took over my body.

Early risings became a task.

Naps became a rare reward for finishing work.

Work.

Ah, how I needed the silence!

I could not concentrate with the movement.

Late nights were a must.

Only if I wanted to complete my chores.

Silence is a dream.

A beautiful, unique dream.

I don’t breath.

So I am not the cause of its ruin.

Only mine.
