There isn’t a glimmer of doubt about what he wants and he knows he will get it.
When she sees him she giggles and whispers to her girlfriends about how cute he is.

When he approaches her she uses the sweet vulnerable little girl act.

He has eyes of steel and a determination that would win wars if need be.

When he speaks his voice is strong and confident.

There isn’t a glimmer of doubt about what he wants and he knows he will get it.

He quickly sweeps her off her feet with his sweet romantic ways.

She begins to think she's special and that this encounter could turn into love.

With that in mind she decides not to play hard to get.

She rushes into it succumbing to him only hours after they’ve met.

In the morning when she wakes he is there, but he is different.

He's not the seductive gentleman that she met the night before.

Distraction and complacency take the place of his once charming and passionate manner.

He asks her when she's leaving because he has plans he can’t miss.

Her heart drops, she has been deceived.

Alone she sits in the cab reliving her fantasy of unrequited love.

She thinks to herself as a single tear rolls down her cheek, he doesn’t even know my name.

If only I weren’t such a foolish little girl.
