I’m not sure what it is that makes me stay.
He hurt me again today.

I’m not sure what it is that makes me stay.

From day one he has owned my heart.

He can’t stop breaking it so I fear we need to part.

All the things I need to say keep me awake at night.

I want to talk to him, but I dread a fight.

We used to lose each other in our wild desire.

Somehow living this life has put out that fire.

If I didn’t love him I wouldn’t cry.

He tells me he loves me, but he doesn’t try.

Our problems are easy to detect.

For each other we no longer have any respect.

Were we in love enough to marry?

I know the answer to this question, but life without him seems so scary.
