This my opinion of abortions.
A love lost, a forgotten dream
because of this, she was never seen.
It wasn't like she was lost or taken that day
but her mother made the decision to take her life away.

She thought without a child she could be more free
but after a few months, she realized it couldn't be.
She never wondered about everyday that passed her by
all she knew was that everyday was her tear and sigh.

Hating and regretting ever having it done
she now realize what everyone promised was not yet to come
hurting deeply inside,
she thought the pain would never subside.

All she knew was that a love forgotten
was her baby, her life, her dream
now the baby she could've had would never run free
all because abortions were now meant to be.
