This is dedicated to my mother and how hard she has worked for us.
She dreaded to know what tomorrow would bring

She dreaded to answer every telephone ring

For it would be her boss on the other line

telling her that it was her work time.

She would call everyone and ask could they watch her kids

All would reply, "No, I have no use to babysit."

she would cry and cry and ask God why,

"Why did my husband have to die?"

Her job was important but her kids were too

So she called her boss back and said that she was through.

Her boss didn't worry, he didn't have a fit

He just hung up the phone coldly, for she had just quit.

Her heart filled with hate, hurt and sorrow

Seemed like that tomorrow promised would never follow

So she gave a sigh of relief and then began to pray

All because she knew that a better tomorrow was on the way.
